Bryn Mawr College recently changed the Environmental Studies program from a concentration into a minor!
The Environmental Studies minor embodies Bryn Mawr’s commitment to educating students to be agents for sustainable change in the world. Students in the program are able to master a variety of applications of sustainability, from geology and ecology to urban planning and environmental justice.
In the senior seminar for ES minors, students work to create applicable projects, many of which have benefited the Bryn Mawr community. Some of these include a syllabus for an Environmental Literacy PE course, a plan for a workable garden, and a bi-college transportation study.
